IDENTIFICATION AND DETERMINANTS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING INDUSTRY IN THE LIGHT OF RESULTS OF FORESIGHT PROJECT FOR THE PODKARPACKIE VOIVODESHIP
Abstract
This article presents some perspective and leading directions for development of agricultural production and processing industry for the Podkarpackie voivodeship. These directions were identified within the proces of social and expert opinion consultations including the research study on the present state of agriculture in the Podkarpackie voivodeship. In the result of the conducted discussions there were selected five leading directions for development of agriculture and processing industry i.e. agricultural farms with ecological production orientation, technologies for biomass production and processing, farming of plants based on mycorrhiza, development of processing plants for ecological food, plant and animals farming oriented for regional products.
