We are working on providing and implementing internal regulations and safety precautions for safe work with GMM BSL_1 (Genetically Modified Microorganisms; BioSafety Level 1) at the DBFM. We formally operate as a Genetic Engineering Department (pl Zakład Inżynierii Genetycznej) according to a permission issued by the Ministry of Environment (96/2016). We are responsible for reporting on the closed use of GMM BSL_1 in our Unit.
