The Multivariable Analysis of the Knowledge Based Economy (KBE) in Triad Countries on the Basis of KAM 2007 Methodology
Abstract
The aim of the article was to analyse creation of the Knowledge Based Economy (KBE) in triad countries EU (EU-15, EU-25, EU-27), US and Japan. In article the author took into consideration the developed countries, which have a significant technological potential. The analysis verified Knowledge Based Economy in triad countries not only based on basic scoreboard (14 variables) but also on all 83 variables used in KAM 2007 methodology. Moreover the author tried to make the comparison between the results gained from basic scoreboard and multivariable estimations for triad countries taking into account Knowledge Economy Index (KEI) as well as Knowledge Index (KI).
