COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF FUNGAL DISEASES CONTROL IN WINTER WHEAT CULTIVATIONS IN POLAND IN 1998-2007



Abstract

The main result of many years pest/diseases monitoring provided by Plant Protection and Seed Health Inspection Service in collaboration with Plant Protection Institute is the tendency of pests and diseases spread as well as their regionalization. Cost--effectiveness was measured by cost-effectiveness indicators, and the best results were obtained in opolskie, dolnośląskie wielkopolskie – regions where the yields were highest.
