ECONOMIC EFFECTIVENESS OF LARGE SCALE AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES



Abstract

Significant changes of price relations during the period 1995-2005 had rather unfavourable direction for agricultural companies. The main purpose of the article is to present how, in this circumstances, changed economical efficiency of agricultural farms. As the research object, taken into consideration, the group of large scale agricultural enterprises has been chosen. The group characterise strong relations with economic environment (thanks to high share of commercial production) and large use of the external production factors. It was concluded that economic efficiency level decreased during the period 1998-2005 in investigated population.
