EFFICIENCY OF LIVE PIG PRODUCTION IN FARMS FROM SOUTH-EASTERN POLAND ACCORDING TO SCALE OF PRODUCTION



Abstract

The aim of the paper was to estimate economic and production efficiency of farm pig production in the Podkarpacie region. Economic results were presented in different scale of production. The survey was conducted in 65 individual farms. It was stated that pig production brought losses to majority of the producers independently of the scale of their production.
