LOGIT MODEL UTILIZATION IN ADDITIONAL AND ALTERNATIVE INCOME ESTIMATION OF FARMS

Abstract

Particular attention was paid to profitability of additional and alternative income sources, mainly ostrich and fallow deers. The analysis was presented using Logit model. The survey proved that the profitability of ostrich production was determined by basic herd, farmers’ age and own sawings. In fallow deers production the most important were basic herd and own savings.
