ROLE OF POLISH AGRARIAN ECONOMICS IN EUROPE IN THE LIGHT OF XIIITH CONGRESS OF EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURAL ECONOMISTS



Abstract

Agrarian economics as a branch of economy has a strong scientific position within the other economic disciplines. In the above context the very important is a question about the main areas of scientific research of that branch of economics, and also defining the scientific position of Polish agrarian economics on the European and world market of economy. The presented paper discusses that problem. The analyses were conducted on the base of works contributed to the XIIIth Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists, held in Zurich in August and September 2011. The gathered materials were analysed according to the session, scientific problems, country – the location of university, also work affiliation. The results of the research were presented with measures of work intensity contribution to congress, also author and papers structures.
